Do we live in Neo-Feudalism as serfs of the Tech Kings?
I pledge my allegiance to Apple and Apple keeps me safe in an insecure world full of zero days. While others prosper under Facebook’s marketplace. My friends who don’t care about privacy pick Google. Microsoft is going to war with its ChatGPT acquisition. And we all know the tyranny of Amazon. And the government is beholden to the wishes of these tech kings. What do you think Blind? #tech

Two things can be true at the same time. If we didn’t fight for our rights we wouldn’t have the 5-day workweek or other things we all take for granted.
I make six figures and most of that money goes to parasitic institutions that represent the ruling class: the government, landlords, banks (student loans), insurance companies… Feels like some kind of version of modern day serfdom to me. When you work most of your life to give the fruits of your labor to a ruling class and institutions which don’t produce anything by and large… That sounds a lot like serfdom.
