New grad riot games
I’m graduating 2024 and Riot is the top company I want to work at. If I never had a chance to intern there do they offer new grad positions for SWE, or opportunities to intern after graduation? Any help is appreciated!
Id love for someone else from Rito to correct me here, but we very rarely hire new grads without intern experience as our returning interns meet our new grad head counts (very high percentage of those offered want to work here and take it).
Yup, almost all our associate headcount is reserved for our interns. It’s extremely rare for a team to open an associate position outside of the internship program. (I remember only one special case from the last 3 years). HMs at Riot want to lower their risk with new grad hiring, and they see internship as the best way to do that. Outside of the associate hiring through internship route, we have 3-4 year xp positions as the earliest. OP, if you are graduating in 2024 may, you are eligible for an internship for the 2024 summer as well. Just apply this September if that’s the case.
