The title says, big layoff many affected in UK and US the meeting invite was sent at 6pm yesterday, and made a lot of stress for people who get it or not. severance is around 1-2 weeks everything go to offshore Looking for a references #severance #reference #layoff
I’m not sure if those numbers are correct but I don’t doubt it’s a lot.
UK + US = around 500+ it's might be better, but...
No matter how many times I see this company name, all I actually see is Analplan
"Analytics" + "planning" so not far off
Anaplan = Anal Plan
Bro they laid off 500+ people. The severance is at least 60 days pay and benefits due to warn
Didn’t they get bought for 11 billion last year. Ouch for hedge fund that paid that much $$ to buy at the top..
private equity, this outsourcing is likely destructive of long term value and they’re just strip mining it
@logitech ding ding ding
This is 25% of the company. Engineering and highly technical support significantly impacted. I understand the need for layoffs but this honestly seems like a strategic error. The platform is sure to suffer in the long and short term.
Hedge funds don't care about that. They'll squeeze out every penny that they can extract and bill the company for management consulting.
They have a good hopes and big failure on GL.
Well it's 300, not 500 therefore 15%. The company needs to make money and that is the sole aim of a private equity acquisition. This is not a new approach and was a long time coming.
If your company gets bought by private equity then you know it’s time to quiet quit and sharpen your skills to work somewhere else.
I agree I didn’t get laid off at Coupa but writing is on the wall. Either do 3x more work or go else where
You should do more work but it should be 0.5 actual work and 2.5 upgrading skills for another job. No good can come out of working for a PE controlled company
Shit severance what a joke
