Healthcare provider looking into doing a career change - feel like I just missed the frenzy I'd hiring wave and things may be cooling off but here we are. - precourses / study leisurely for a bit ( I am going to take a month or two 'off' / traveling ) --> codesmith -- > grind leetcode .. expect about 12 months or so to get a decent job ? - Penn MCIT program 12-16 months (months 9-16 are electives you can do all 4 in 3rd semester if you want ). Other ? - no I'm not going to learn on my own for free online, this isn't a debate in the value of the 20k cost of codesmith I need the structure and the sunk cost isn't a factor, time is more valuable. Just a question of getting a job as fast as possible and getting experience.. or try to start the MCIT in the fall which puts me to summer 2023 for looking for a job (which will theoretically give me more of broad base/findemental understanding to grow from ?) Age : 35 Tc will be slashed in half after acquisition. Hence one if the drivers to finally go for a career change
