Mobile home Worth it, early carrier.

I see several mobile homes in the silicon valley, and they are quite cheap than the normal homes. I have heard that you just get the house in that amt(~200-350K) and not the land. So I was curious to know how much would be the lease or monthly rent for the land in mobile parks or communities. Consider the house area around 1500-2000 sqft. I was looking into areas like the Santiago villa besides Charleston campus and other such communities below that are closure to the bay shoreline. TC 200k Yoe 5

If youโ€™re considering a mobile home you should just rent tbh. They do not appreciate like SFHs

For sometime I looked into buying remote houses too and decided not to buy it because the house value does not appreciate so itโ€™s not really an investment. Renting would be the way to go if youโ€™re just looking for a place to live.

Unfortunately, most of these places have a lot of people who can't afford anything else. I've tried looking into cheaper places in a few cities I've lived in, and it's always a different sight, and you quickly understand why noone wants to live there. No explicitly about mobile homes, same often goes for apartments, too. So, if you want to live in a nice place, you simply have to pay extra to price them out.
