What resources (books, websites etc) have you found effective for improving your programming knowledge and skills?
I've found sites like linkedin learning and codecademy useful when first learning new concepts. Also use sites like leetcode for programming practice. Wondering what other resources everyone here has/is using.
Books over videos for me, I find reading and taking notes/programming along is a more deliberate practice that improves recall over watching videos. Some people hate reading books though, so videos with practice lessons might work better. Everyoneโs different. I think udemy is good, but my biggest criticism is all the knowledge is usually very surface level. Diving into a well written book has always felt more meaningful to me
Most programming skills come on the job, struggling with a problem and reading into the sdk or stack overflow. Not everything can be learned via book or video
