Vote away Double income, no kids. Payments towards 401k contribution should not count as expenses. Payments towards principal in mortgage should not count as expenses.
Wow, these options are pretty high. Doing about 75k with two kids in the Portland area. My youngest goes to public school this fall, and that should bring our spending to about 60k
Holy, some of you dinks are spending way too much.
I’m a dev, my wife’s a vet. We both make around 160. I work remote and she obviously doesn’t. Since we live in South Carolina, our COL is low and we have a paid off home in our late 20’s.
foods: 800 toys: 1000 bills/subscriptions: 500 vacations/misc: 500 thats <$40k/y and we already get whatever we want pretty much what kind of hobbies most ppl here have that they hit $151k> as top voted choice?
Are you crazy ? It’s atleast 200k a year in HCOL. Including mortgage of course
You are the crazy one if you consider principal payments as expenses. Interest paid and property tax are valid expenses but not the principal payments.
