Curious what the consensus is for the recent fund for Databricks stock (details attached). It’s a lower valuation than their recent funding round and combined with the poor stock market and IPO performance this year, curious to hear people’s thoughts, especially from Databricks. #investments investments
18.35% is what the ‘seller’ is liquidating at. It doesn’t mean that’s the right valuation.
36b that's a Lotta chedda
What? The hottest unicorn needed to raise from equityzen? Seemed a red flag. Nothing wrong with equityzen. But is databricks running out of money?
What are you talking about? That's for private investors
It's just noise. Price is higher than the public market would allow, especially in these layoff frenzy times. Our Dolly announcement would have caused a bump due to the GPT hypetrain. We're doing well and that's why our competitors are increasingly concerned. It's an exciting space to be sure and there's plenty of upside remaining in the Data and AI sphere.
Would you recommend putting 20k here?
asking an employee that question is an odd choice. we are all effectively putting hundreds of thousands of dollars there
Any data about last equityzen Databricks sell?
They don’t report that but you can see it on Hiive
The numbers don't quite make sense. Here it says: $60 -> $36.72B so 612M shares. But we also saw: $73.33 -> $38B which is 518M shares. Which one is correct?
The increase due to refreshers, I think at this point fully diluted market cap is $45B
But, that would be $6B refresher at $60. Too much?
Doesn't look that bad lol
