Stripe has grown a lot but their presence is very minimal in India even though it's big market both from business and talent point of view. If Stripe were to grow in India do you think their growth in India will only be by inorganic way ? Like by acquisition of Razorpay or cleartax etc. ?? #stripe #razorpay #india #cleartax
India is probably not a target market for Stripe. Given the regulatory clusterf**k here, even Indian startups prefer incorporating in the US, targeting foreign businesses and maintaining finances there. In those cases, Stripe is the front runner already.
What are you pointing at ? If that was the case you would not see all these Payment farms
Razorpay is too big to acquire..
Heard of whatsapp acquisition ? Just because it's big in size doesn't means it can't be taken over
No way they will get regulatory approval now. Not going to happen, also founders wil not sell. WhatsApp was 2013, world is very different today
India needs to create tech companies that do not replicate a US business idea.
Guess you need more scientist's than engineers for that..
