Google Background Check
I'm going through the background check process right now at Google and I got an email from HireRight last week that it was successfully completed and passed but my Onboarding Dashboard still shows it as "processing". How long after y’all finished your background check does it take to update to "completed” on the dashboard? Reached out to recruiter and background check team but have not heard anything in a few days.

Mine never updated on my end but the recruiter told me everything was good on theirs.

+1 for me the status of Offer Letter was not updated for 2 weeks after signing it. Recruiter and manager confirmed all if good on their end.
Did you have the option to get a copy of your background check (it's required by law in some US states to offer it to candidates)? This is your best avenue to stay in the loop. My experience was that it updated faster on the background check vendors website than the onboarding one.
Yup I have the option to view the report whenever I log in to HireRight. It shows as completed, meeting company standards (ie passed), and sent to google all last Tuesday. But as mentioned in another comment, my recruiter said that it shows as completed on their end so I’m good to go. Thanks for the response tho!
Don’t stress out too much about it. They will update it sooner or later.

Thanks for the response! Starting in 3 weeks as well! I’ll just let it ride out and stop bugging my recruiter. Was getting concerned since I wanted to put my notice in this week and have heard a lot of horror stories about HireRight screwing up peoples offers.
