TLDR; 33yo, senior in under grad (3.95 GPA BS supply chain, minor biz analytics) with 7YOE construction mgmt, project mgmt intern Boeing, go big and ask for mid salary range L3, take standard intern L1 to get masters (information systems) paid for, look for work as technical pm or go straight into masters? Background: I’m a non traditional student (33yo), getting a BS in supply chain and minor in analytics (GPA 3.95). Prior to school, I helped run a small construction company Assistant GM) for 7 years, but needed to get fully off of the tools due to an injury. Post injury, I couldn’t find anything with comparable salary because I was a high school drop out, so school was the move. My degree requires an internship, so I’m at Boeing for the summer in a construction pm (PA/CM) role. Typical interns who get offers start at L1 and move to L2 off first 6 months go well. However, with my experience I am planning to ask to start at L3 in middle of salary range at about $120k. One of my managers who will not be making the hiring call has said I am likely to get an offer and should try to leverage prior experience. Last thing, I want to get away from construction and into being a technical pm, but all my experience is in construction and I’m scheduled to take my #PMP in September. The questions: is this too big of an ask in my situation, or should I go for it? The other options are to dive straight into my masters or try to get into a different field (preferably #tech). The catch is that I really want to use their unlimited tuition program to pay for my masters in info systems, so I would settle for $90k. I’ve got a wife at home taking care of our 6 month old because her salary was less than cost of childcare, especially over the summer when we would’ve had to pay for our 6yo too, so the sooner I start getting paid the better. Thoughts? Pre-school TC $77k YOE 7

how to retire on 2 million, practical solution
If you’re still strong on quantitative side and know some excel and SQL, I don’t see why you cant start way above 120 in business ops/analytics, at least in HCOL.
