Why do I always see only women doing Hip Thrust workout at my gym ? I personally just to the traditional big muscle group training.
Go to a gay gym.
Women think they only need to build their glutes, so they focus on glute exercises. But hip thrusts aren't even good to begin with.
What is your data behind saying they aren’t good?
The simple fact it's an isolation exercise which give less development than squats/deadlifts.
Men do it in bedroom?
It’s because you only stare at women
STFU you moron
Hey we both got 🐝🐝🐝
Anyone who has good understanding exercise and stimulus to fatigue ratio will definitely do hip thrust. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6544005/ The issue is most people who you see on social media and gyms lack the understanding and just follow what is the norm or taught on TikTok or YouTube shorts where the cool attention grabbing stuff do well. I do hip thrust as a man every week in my program and include it in all my clients program too as long as they don’t have a medical issue where such a movement needs to be avoided.
ive been around competitive athletics, strength and conditioning coaching, and bodybuilding for like 30 years. hip thrusts are a good movement, particularly if you want to work your glutes without working your legs as much, which women want to do because having larger glutes with less muscular legs is considered desirable in our culture. But for athletics, and for men who just want to build more lower body strength, mass and explosive power, squats and deadlifts are king, followed by leg press and lunges. The hip thrusts are a good accessory, but are definitely secondary when it comes to building mass
As a guy I’m really not trying to get a voluptuous ass
Male, they are in my routine. I see lot of dudes doing it in my gym, like 35-65 split
Hip thrusts are also just fun to do. Not trolling
True! Software employees sit a lot, every gender should be doing it for longevity
I see women in my gym hip thrusting 100kg and then shoulder pressing 10lb, and vice versa for men
