I recently completed my interviews at Goldman and received a positive feedback for the offer. I have comp discussion coming up and I wanted to know how much should I ask for? Current TC- 25L cash (16L unvested stocks) YoE- 1.8 The recruiter told me that I will be processed for an Analyst role. New grads this year have a 36.5L comp. Is something in the 40-45L range a good ballpark? #tech #goldmansachs
Depends on your team and division. Unlikely you will get more than 30 base and 5-6 bonus
Thank you, this does match what a few of my friends received. Any insights on one-time bonuses or RSUs (couple I know did receive RSUs for their unvested stocks from previous companies)? Also, which divisions are known to be the better ones?
Would prefer to converse in DM regarding details
Why leaving Amzn for GS?
Major step down
Shit manager and heavy ops load. Attrition has been crazy within the team and the manager also fucked up my current rating and PCS. So, no promo this year.

45L they won't offer, but you can try. 2 year analysts for tier one colleges got PATC ( CTC+ bonuses) in the range of 40-42L after this year's hike in Jan. They might level you to the same but no harm in asking 45 PATC. Best of luck
Thank you so much !
Could you share a bit more on how annual appraisals work at Goldman? On average, how much does the base and bonus move YoY?
