Giving phone screen from Uber , Lyft, Door dash , Wepay in 3 weeks from now. My plan is to solve 250 leetcode questions. Around 150 medium and 50 hard , 50 easy questions and give the phone screens. Revise popular questions from topics like backtracking, DP, greedy, bit manipulation, divide and conquer etc. Currently I have solved 100 Leetcode questions. 150 more to go. Hoping that my strategy would work. Any suggestions ? Role Interviewing for Backend engineer. Current TC : 180k , Years of experience: 6
250 seems like massive overkill. You should do 100-150 questions. After that, you get a good idea of what sort of problems exist. Strengthening fundamental concepts is more important so you can apply your knowledge in new scenarios.
250 for phone screen is overkill! I would devote some time to system design unless you are planning to have gap between phone screen and onsite and prepare then
I will prepare one month for onsite . Planning to prepare for system design during that time frame.
That’s impressive. I can never finish that many leetcode problems in one month. It will take me 3 months to be at that level.
Weekly 30-50 questions is my pace.
Any update op?
Quality is better than quantity. There is not set number after which you don’t have to worry about anything. Try solving some from each category.
I know . I hitting that number just to gain some mental confidence
