H1B - Expedite green card path
Good People, What are the options to expedite the green card path for H1B holders in the usa? Can you convert to a business/investor visa and file a private GC application? Note: Marriage is not an option. Noone gets married for visa. #workvisa #h1b TC: ~$270
Marry someone from Nepal, let her apply for GC and then Citizenship. You claim your GC and citizenship through them

Marry an American citizen. You will spin your wheels for many years chasing up multiple options to no end and arrive at the same conclusion. Or get a PhD, publish papers and explore the EB1 route.
Marrying an American/GC holder is by far the easier. Other option is to cross-charge with a spouse that wasn’t born in India. If neither of these work for you, then time to set up a tent in India.
Or just go to 🇨🇦 🍁
Move to Vancouver, manage a Seattle team along with Vancouver team. Come back on L1 visa into USA. Get EB1 quota, much faster than getting a PhD
Become manager in 🇺🇸. Then go outside, work there for more than 1 year. Come to 🇺🇸 on L1 for the same company. You can apply in eb1 category. In less than 1 year after you move back to 🇺🇸 you get GC.
This is probably the most practical way now, given marriage and PhD is not possible for everyone. However, leaving a country, settling In a new one. Then leaving that again and settling again will indeed take a toll on mental health. This is definitely doable but tough for married with kids people.

Work till you retire and then don’t leave.
Skip H1B and go straight to GC from OPT
Identify as US citizen and claim discrimination when they ask for visa documents.
