Kobe finally got his statue commemorating his greatness outside of the old Staples Center. (Which is now Crypto.com Arena) but if you from LA you know it's Staples. It was a somber ceremony that was trying its hardest to celebrate one of the most important people of LA and our current generation. After words from Derek Fisher and Phil Jackson, Vanessa Bryant made her speech before the statue was revealed. She noted that Kobe was the one who chose the pose and if anyone has a problem with it, then tough sh*t. This is the first of 3 statues for Kobe. The statue is after his 81 point masterpiece and pointing to the sky as if to say thank you. This is a sad and happy moment for Laker fans and the people of Los Angeles to celebrate someone that touched all our hearts by shooting a ball into the hoop. Rip Kobe πππ
