How is Nuro?
I am currently interviewing with Nuro, and would like to get some details on how the company is doing financially, culture and wlb. Are they going to IPO soon?
Not profitable and no IPO anytime soon. Even companies like stripe are not going public, why would an AV company? WLB not great either, but hey, if the works interests you then go for it

Second this. Onboard code is pretty solid. Finances are ok, definitely have run rate for a few more years. Culture is good (maybe could use a bit more urgency), wlb is fair. Cash comp is actually pretty good for a startup. Equity value is what you make of it (probably smart to assume 0, but you do you), but our offers are usually pretty high at face value. I agree IPO probably not soon, profitability likely out of the question within 5 years too, like most AV companies. I'd join if you want to work with a strong team on cool problems. I like working here a lot. People are smart and also very nice, and theres a lot of good people and code to learn from.
I guess the above two are recruiters or hiring managers. The code quality is shit. It looks nicely formatted and stuff but people are just rubberstamping a bunch of code. And then like to pat each other on their back.
Can’t we be sure that profitability isn’t near? AV companies make little to no revenue
