Putinomics v.s. Bidenomics
I'm going to send money back in India. For me it is a big amount (50k). Is it safe to use transferwise? Any feedbacks? Thanks
Check for best rates. I've used transfer wise. Never did 50k at once but in total I transfered about 21k with it (in 3k chunks) I like the service enough.

Never had any issues and the rates are decent.
Isnt 50k gonna flag something w/ the IRS? I heard the rule of thumb is to send <10k at a time
Doing it in $10k clips raises more AML red flags than lump sum
use the bank, pay the $40 transfer fee; they ask what the money is for if >$10k, not sure why would that flag IRS . Same as when crossing borders, declare >$10k, not because they will take it from you
It's a good service with good rates. But you're capped, pretty sure you can't send that amount, at least initially.
Regular wire transfer
Use Remitly / Ria Money Transfer. They provide the best rates AFAIK
I’ve used remitly and western union multiple times since they’ve given me the best rates among all the exchange service websites
