Hey guys, looking to apply for the Facebook/Meta RPM program this year. Looking for current/ previous PMs at Facebook/Meta who went through the program or are current PMs there to connect with. Run. For the last two years the entire class of rotational candidates couldn’t find an internal role and were let go.
Thanks for the reply , Oh wow, was there a reason why? If there were no internal roles whats the point of the rotation?
Even right now there are few internal roles. What I mentioned was for SWE. This is a SWE first company so you can imagine it is always worse for non-SWE. I was told by senior management that they were desperately trying to atleast retain some poeple but due to low # openings and freezes , everyone who graduated were let go. Things might have changed in last few months , but I don’t know
There are single digit rotational PMs and I don’t believe we’re actively hiring fresh grads or junior PMs
The program is not open yet ?
Is it even happening this year??
Many (but not all) of the most recent RPM grads did find roles in the last couple months. The layoffs and hiring freezes this year made it harder than usual.
