Source: https://automattic.com/what-to-expect-during-a-trial/ I never went to an interview where I am given a "project" that last between 25 hours to 3 weeks as part of the interview process. Does anyone know what is this? Feels like a lot of work without guarantees that you'll be given an offer.
How much do they pay for the trial? Obviously only unemployed would have the time to take a trial like that.
I have no idea
$25 per hour
It is a paid project, and they do sign a contract with you for your work. It’s not paid at an exceptionally high rate, but you are compensated and the work is supposed to just be something trivial so they can get a sense of how you work/communicate/think.
Make sure to ask what the compensation is for this 40-hour project. Also make sure that you have a contract signed with them where you are paid for this "trial" work.
