What can you buy with 5M
Last time I leetcoded was 2 years ago. A medium felt like a medium: sometimes they were hard, sometimes not. But now I feel they’re all easys, can solve in my head in just a few minutes. Has the hiring bar been lowered drastically? LC hards are the only problems worth doing.
Lmao give us your LC with proof, you clearly haven’t solved enough
Bragging about solving LC mediums is like saying you can breath 🙄
Small d*ck energy
Medium is an extremely wide band. You haven’t encountered the harder set of mediums that are borderline impossible to solve without knowing the trick. Some harder end mediums are actually harder than the lower end Hards.
You know what else is easy op? Your mother
easy..once u dnt care about whether it pass test cases or fail...after smoking weed
Congrats on solving an easy medium problem. I’m about to rock your world with this one though: not all mediums are the same difficulty despite having the same “medium” label *gasp*. Each label has a wide spectrum of difficulty. Let’s see how you feel after attempting this medium: https://leetcode.com/problems/exam-room/
This one isn’t that hard tho lol
It’s higher rated than most hards. I bet you didn’t even try to solve it. You’re going to get humbled by the edge cases if you actually attempt it. I’m top 2% in contest rating and this problem is definitely harder than most hards I’ve done.
Fuck off anyone who calls LC easy. It’s hard AF, CS people love to show how big their brain is because they can solve a LC medium now after hours of practice. Was the same way in college too, CS students never admitted to studying more than five hours a week.
Are you not CS?
90% of medium problems I can solve at first with no thinking. Even the new ones I haven't seen before 5% I need to think a bit about it. Maybe 5% I'll struggle. 70% of LC Hard I'll solve easily. 20% I might struggle a bit. 10% can be hard, and I will need a bit of help. But then again I've solved 1500 LC and I'm an ex competitive programmer from Eastern Europe. Since high school I've been solving problems like that. Why am I still in MSFT? Good question. Because I want only remote or a position in Europe, and the market for remote employees is DEAD. I've passed Google interviews again, but cannot team match. If you're a Google HM hiring remote employees in the US (I have work authorization) or in-office in Zurich (I am an EU citizen), let me know. I have strong hire for all rounds as per my recruiter. I am currently L4 SWE (but can reinterview for L5 SWE if needed). I'm experienced in cloud, production deployments and distributed systems. Thanks. Current TC: 180k USD
Cool story bro
you haven’t cracked enough. Those ones in the weekly contest can be extremely hit or miss
Especially the 3rd problem. Lately it has been mostly DP heavy and the recurrence relation is difficult to come up with.
I’ll check those out, thanks. I’m curious if it was just luck of choosing a bunch of easy mediums or I’m still gonna struggle if the interviewer throws some hard medium at me
