Most movies released in the past couple of years are complete crap. Anything at the same level as Interstellar, In Bruges, The Pianist, or at least Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? Something that doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste like you just ate a big mac. Please share! Any genre is good. And please NO Spiderman or Avengers, those are precisely the big macs of movies.

Love the actors, but the plot seems… silly. Or is it really good?
Yes - silly and surprisingly good
Interstellar was a burger made of filet mignon for the first 2/3rds, but last 1/3rd was Big Mac. Children of Men if you haven't seen it, it's been out a long while now.
Have you watched Tenet
If you can are willing to try, i would highly recommend “the new world” the korean one and not the english one. Its available on youtube.

Excellent movie, and if you're down with Whiplash I'd also paint "Sideways" as an adjacent recommendation
