How much do you pay? I recently moved to 1500sqft house and my bill more than doubled to $190. I guess heating is expensive during winter. Previously lived in 1 bed apartment. Only 2 people in the house. Tc 350k
i have a 500 sqft apartment and pay $150+ in winter you’re fine lol
my insulation is absolute shit 🤦♂️
My 2k sqft home in the bay area does 190 just water expense...winter heating and all the other electrical crap and I'm north of $500...waiting a few years to do a re-roof and get solar to ease this
Jesus Christ. What do you set your furnace temp to, 77F?
You mean gas for water heater or water bill itself?
Pfft those are rookie numbers
Mine is going to be $650.
Same. It’s insane!
Do we have to live with only PGE, monopoly sucks
I live in a 1000 sqft apt in the bay area and it's been $150-$160 these past few months cuz I can't stand the cold
I pay max $100-125 even though heat is on 24x7. 1600 sq feet home
Setting at what degrees?

In the apartment usually you don't pay for hot water. In the house, you pay for everything. $200 is highly reasonable
Hmm so you mean management pays for gas to heat water?
Most apartments and condominiums, Yes
Most houses built between 1970 and 2008 have terrible thermals. Glhf
