MSFT Interviewer Tells Me To Stop Talking
I earned $106.36 on January 31. I earned $104.74 yesterday despite depositing $2,000 more into the account last month. Interest rate was 3.5% for both months. Only thing I can think of is due to February having 3 less days than January? Would that make sense or is it something else? This is with Morgan Stanley/etrade HYSA.
Wow pretty nice actually
My man worried about ~$2 😂
Love counting my interest now that my stocks get hammered every day!
It is due to 28 days vs 32 days in Feb vs Jan. My 2 cents, consider an HYSA saving account offering more APY e.g. I am using 4.75% (based on referral for 3 months) to get the best out of the interest rates. let me know in case you need a link.
Etrade will be bumping theirs soon. They’ve consistently been one of the top rates, but they’re always slow with the increases. I expect them to move to 4% soon. All my stocks are with etrade, so I like having my HYSA there too. So thanks, but not going through hassle of creating new account and transferring almost $50k for an extra .75% for 3 months
Make sense, great.
Feb has 28 days only
Ok thanks for confirming. I figured that was probably why. 31 days again this month would’ve put me at just over $115.
