I was contacted for a role at Dave, however, the company looks like it’s close to dying and I’m not sure what I’d be getting myself into. How’s the culture at Dave? WLB is very important to me and I wouldn’t trade that for money unless it is a stupid amount of money. #daveinc #dave #tech
WLB solid, coworkers are solid, but leadership poor and nothing really setting us in front of chime or other competitors

Cool! I could, but could you elaborate more? A lot of people will tell you to avoid Capital One but I really like it as a company and work environment and such, so people have different perspectives on things, so I am curious about what is the reason you’d think I should avoid it
Haha well you came to the conclusion that it’s close to dying. Leadership have no strong strategy, shifting priorities, it’s gotten so bad pple stop caring and not a lot of bottom up initiatives. Nothing “unique” about the product we’re offering, we have some runway due to recent ipo but honestly with this c-level team - I wouldn’t count on it. WLB can be ok depending on team. Avg start up with an immature leadership team. Some decent ICs just chilling out until they find the next gig
