Family of 4. Parents visit us sometimes. 50k seems expensive, if we want to buy a new one such as Honda odyssey or Chrysler Pacifica.. Any thoughts? Brand recommendation? Used minivan is a good idea?
Used can be a great option if the price is fair. Toyota Sienna is also a great option, but I’m excited about the Chrysler Pacifica. Normally, I would suggest renting but that’s become expensive. I’ve rented vans thru costco travel (before 2020) and was a good price instead of buying a larger car for occasional family visits.
Go for sienna , LE and then put after market leather and good audio system
Why not used Highlander
Don’t buy now wait for 2 years if you can . If you wanna buy make sure they are not selling above msrp.
2 years?
For chip shortage to clear out . Toyota just decreased its output by 40% and tsmc increased its prices by 20%
Buy an SUV
Minivans are so useful and much better to drive and be passenger in than big SUV with equivalent seating. Don’t wait or obsess over price. Safe big family cars are expensive and a few thousand dollars saved or lost doesn’t really change that.
Minivans are such eye sores on the road
This is the dumbest comment in this post
You can buy 5-7 seater SUV ( better looking ) for the same money
Lamborghini Urus. The minivan will feel cheap after you look up the price tag.
Buy the Pacifica hybrid
