Hey everyone -- I am a product manager with about 6 YOE: 4 years at a RegTech start-up, 2 years as a founder. My start-up didn't work out so I'm looking for PM roles. My role at the RegTech start-up involved a fair amount of analytics / basic data pipelining (i.e. Python, Neo4J, MongoDB, Athena, etc) I developed my data engineering skills (i.e. Airflow) at my start-up and became proficient in Figma. Market appears to be pretty saturated so I'm looking for help upgrading my resume / getting referrals for roles that I may be a good fit for. #productmanagement #pm #product

Move your experience section to the top. Your education is from many years ago and, frankly, not relevant. Remove the GPA, scholarships, frat, etc. - they're also no longer relevant You mention you're looking for PM roles. But reading this resume, I might have concluded you're looking for data engineering / business intelligence engineering roles. Product managers need to talk about what business outcomes they drove: the stakeholders they worked with, the customers they acquired, the metrics they drove, etc. The points you have now make me think that you haven't actually done a true PM role. Your bullet points also read like a laundry list of technical jargon / buzzwords, which is always a red flag. It indicates that you're perhaps not adept at communicating. As an example: "Led an overhaul of the risk ontology for Kharon's knowledge graph, laying the foundation for Dynamic Analytics, Kharon's data-as-a-service product." What does this mean? I'm sure it has a meaning for you, but to me it reads like gobbledygook. What did you actually do? What did you accomplish? It's unclear. Go back to basics; use the STAR format. Your additional information section is waaaaay too long. Three lines at most. Save the real estate for your experience. Good luck.
Thanks, very helpful.
