Hey ya’ll, Got an offer for Oracle Associate Netsuite Consultant position. I’ll be a part of oracle netsuite customer success service line in Denver. TC: 75k base and 5k bonus YOE: 0 Please offer your reviews. How are the yearly bonuses? Management? Promotions? Pay?
Oracle (non-OCI) sucks in terms of pay, doesn't really blaze new paths, always has a little stealth layoffs, and doesn't give much in terms of raises/RSUs. That being said, it's got some of the longest tenure around in tech because people are comfortable there.
My old teammates, all 3 in same freaking team/ cube/ desk have been doing exact same codebase for 12+ years That being said OCI has arguably the worst wlb in tech

Be really clear about the job responsibilities and promotion criteria. You will be pushed to do more and to jump through hoops like a circus animal to get promoted in 2-4 years. If you have goals, work on them each day and don’t expect much from Oracle.
If on visa, never ever ever ever ever join Oracle. Company is a scam and will abuse your status by never giving you raises (including OCI)
Pretty bad! It sucks 360 degrees - avg benefits - terrible culture or lack thereof - pay depends. Db and OCI are pretty good But no wlb. If pay is poor, wlb may exist - layoffs as and when u like - personally, working round the clock with india team. So, that sucks Is there anything left to suck?
NetSuite is good. Oracle itself meh. Been both.
There is a huge amount of variation in Oracle. You need someone to share their experience with the exact team you are joining.
Depends on team and org Oracle is a big company
Big time.

Can’t agree more!
