Interviewing for a Sr IT Business Automation & Data Analyst at the Atlanta location. HR Phone screening had mentioned it'll be fully on-site after the new year, so I want to make sure I'm making the right jump. Any thoughts? #tech #data #dataanalyst #dataanalytics #Honeywell #automation #technology #informationtechnology
Honeywell sucks go only if you don't have any other job lined up
My friend quit after 8 months i think. Said it was the most stressful job he ever had. He was a project manager working for honeywells aerospace division
RIP, thanks for sharing. Definitely more hesitant now.
Send me an IM if you want more info been here 4 years. As others have pointed out it's stressful as fuck. Definitely not recommended unless you have no other choice. I'm resigning tomorrow finally moving to fang.
Experience will really depend on the team and location — this is the company with more than 100k employees and offices in every major city in the world. Atlanta is one of more progressive hubs and generally will offer better experience. Expect there will unlikely to be any remote work option after new year (unless we are going into another covid wave). If you get to work with a good team/manager and a good impactful project — you might enjoy it a lot.
Not sure if you’ve taken the job yet or not. I highly recommend that you run away from Honeywell as fast as you can. All of the above comments are 100% right. They will crush you. Also, job is in the office…butts in seats mentality. They fear remote work. Finally, never relo with them. If you quit, get termed or laid off…guess who comes knocking for every cent of the relo? In some instances, the relo is repayment is quite significant
Yeah you get to choose a star, circle, triangle or umbrella for the interview. Go with the triangle.
Why Triangle? And why is there an umbrella choice lol
Always umbrella
