Hey Blind Universe - I’ve been following along for some time now but have come to the point where it’s my turn to throw up a prayer get some help landing in my feet. As with many of you out there, navigating through these unique times has been tough and without a doubt taxing to say the very least. There seems to be so many unique and exciting opportunities out there that are just beyond reach and the endless push to find the next opportunity is getting tougher and tougher. I’m not sure how to get past the endless black hole that consists of resume submissions, automated emails, reaching out on LI, and then boom nothing... I’m looking to get any type of referral or guidance that someone is willing to share in the hopes of find my next “dream” job. I’m not looking to bounce after the first check or put your reputation on the line; instead I want to get you that referral bonus and buy you a beer 2 years in. I’ve got a diverse background that covers a wide range of industries - non-profit, operations, athletics, sales, and construction - and need a chance to tie it all together or at the very least have a conversation. I’m currently looking for a Construction Project Manger or Operations role in something new and exciting. I want to disrupt an industry and jump on whatever rocket ship is headed my direction If you know of anyone hiring or have a connection within your/a company I’d love the help. Thanks everyone and stay safe 🤙🏻
If you want, I can review your resume and provide some feedback. Agreed with ImNotFAANG- narrow it down and find some target companies / target roles. Then tailor your resume for specific job post. DM if interested! 7YOE resume writing.
Prayer for you ! It will be fine!
Sounds like a jack of all trades. What's the 2nd half of that saying? (In case you're foreign: Jack of all trades, master of none.) So ... focus. You'll do good. Notice I'm in crap-insurance... guess I'm good at it.
Ain’t that the truth. Trying to keep the focus going! Had a make the career changes to follow my sig other, I think that choice worked out well ha
