Which product is better in terms of engineering? How is really Mulesoft doing in terms of tech stack, and engineering vision? I am worried if the vision the manager promised isn’t really true. I heard Flex is a relatively new product, and is growing rapidly. I am unable to decide which company to go for. I worked on some shitty projects and I would like to really work on distributed systems. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you! Update: Salesforce TC: 170 base + 55 RSU + 15% bonus Twilio - yet to receive the offer TC 160 K 3 years Bay Area #engineering #software
Twilio flex for learning. Salesforce, msft for casting
Post the offers that you received
Updated my post. What do you think of Mulesoft ?
Mulesoft is dead in the water. Joining Mulesoft right now is a terrible idea since most their leadership jumped the boat a while ago. Constant re-orgs due to $$ and keeping the lights on. Idk about Twilio but I’d lean that way
y leaving Amazon?
You’re more likely to find projects in distributed systems at Amazon than Twilio or SF
55k worth of RSU per year?
I’d run from flex. It’s massively struggling, and has been for years now, and leadership has no real plans.
Oh, no! Do you think Flex can sustain a couple of years before it’s killed? And, how is the engineering team? I heard they are hiring a lot of people.
Flex is going for V2. So I see a good amount of work ahead…for the better
twilio is kind of a shit show rn
I honestly like Twilio right now, and flex is just unproven for now. However, I'm in email so not directly connected to flex, but the culture here is pretty good, especially about time off and wlb
Any idea how’s account security?
Can’t speak for mulesoft but flex is a constant churn machine. Leaders come and go and hopefully this time they get it right.
Well, what compensation did those companies offer?
