How is TiVo as a company? Do they have a future? Wlb?

Amazon has a OTA DVR thatโs priced competitively with no monthly costs. Release is November but take the news as you will on future of TiVo
All is have to say is this - My previous boss, Director level, took the TiVo job to be on a payroll while he negotiated something with a startup. They have a new ownership structure thatโs causing a lot of rift between existing structure and new hires overall. They do have customers looking in to the future but many of those contracts are up for renewals and there has been a lot of dissatisfaction regarding quality. Most of the focus of the new ownership structure is to address that and itโs up to you to see where you fit in, with regards to that transformation and how much of that story is being declared to you as part of the hiring process, if you are in it already.
The business model is dying.
