I want to destroy my company on LinkedIn
Hi all, I received a verbal offer from RBC for a PL07 Senior Manager position. The written offer is pending but I had a question around the bonus: Base: $118K Signing bonus: $15K Bonus: The hiring manager said on the call that I'll see an amount on the offer letter but asked me not to go by that amount since it's almost always much higher than that. What do I make of this? I always thought bonuses were a % of base multiplied by individual performance multiplied by company performance. Anyone here who can speak to how bonuses work at RBC P&CB? This is my first post on Blind so pardon me if I've not adhered to comunity guidelines regarding posts. YOE: 8 Current TC: $115K Offered TC: ~$135K (I think) #rbc #canada #bonus
DM me if you want details on how comp works at each PL
Negotiate your base. The high end is 130k. They can bump it up a bit.
Thanks - what is the base range for this level for P&CB?

Hi, saw your post and wanted to reach out. I’m being offered Sr.Mgr IT risk role within GITR and being told that PL07 ranges from 80-115k. I’ve asked for mid 135-145k; how far can I stretch? I wasn’t given a %age for bonus but what would that be? And any sign in?
Is it the hiring manager that gives you the verbal offer?
Usually 12% minimum plus depends how business unit and bank profits per that year
Thanks - what's the range though? 12% to 20% perhaps?
Not sure upper range but yes maximum 20 but usually 15 again depends on business unit and bank profits etc
