Got an offer from Microsoft as Senior SWE. It’s almost 100k less in TC. But how much more can I negotiate with Microsoft? #microsoft Location: Plano, TX YOE: 8 years Update: I rejected the offer.

Are you sure it’s L63? This looks more like L61. I had a higher base at that level in 2012 or so. 250 tc would be an ok offer for Microsoft today.

Fuck off. 180k might be acceptable for l61 but not l63. The only difference between plano and redmond is < 2k in monthly rent

Is the role in Plano itself? Or remote? I'm 63 remote in Plano with 225 TC you should push for more
