Why?
Are you still there?
The worst and the best company Iāve worked for has been a startup. The same startup in fact.

Noom. Super weird culture.
KPMG
Grab
Hi, can elaborate more? Singapore or Seattle? I'm joining Grab Singapore soon. Don't know much about the culture but their recruiter is the worst ppl ever I have dealt with
Singapore. Iām not surprised about the recruiter. Overall HR is the worst iāve ever experienced in my career. Super unprofessional. Hopefully, youāll never need anything from them. The experience differs from team to team. Itās a huge company. Some of people Iāve worked with were toxic, narrow-minded or had no leadership experience. The culture is very cunning. People donāt care about each other and thereās no diversity. They try to be ācool tech companyā but theyāre way behind western companies.
āš¼ donāt believe me? See the sweet Glassdoor rating of 2.7
Rakuten in Tokyo -- 2.6 with CEO approval around 35%!
Might as well ask - what's the lowest Glassdoor rating anyone knows of for a big tech company? Mine is at 2.6 which I thought was middling until I saw no rivals with scores anywhere near as bad.
SAP.
Why? (I am new to SAP)
I got unlucky. Really bad management. I used to work for Oracle and the fact that i couldnt say that word on campus was too much. Among many other management problems. Also, bad internal process for any reinbursed money
Amazon
Rakuten. If you're unfamiliar, think Amazon but with Japanese work culture and TC lower than any US tech company would dare offer.
