Is this a real city or just a big suburb?
Seattle rolls-up the sidewalks early. There are great places open late and some even open 24 hours but totally agree the city is like the ‘burbs in that aspect.

The bus runs every day.
Not enough demand, apparently .. There uses to be more 24hr places and they went out of business.

Probably the owners moved to Seattle from the East coast 😅
Not likely. Even in upstate NY (Albany, to be precise), you can get takeout from some places until 2 a.m. on the weekends with restaurants open later on Thursday through Saturday.
