I was asked by recruiter to send my transcript for the hiring committee packet. If our gpa was low is it possible to avoid this by sending proof of graduation instead? Edit: I’m going to just send transcript though I’m more wondering if it will hurt me for hiring committee process.
I just gave mine. I don't think they actually care much. I still got to onsite after giving them my shitty grades.
This is after on-site. Recruiter wanted it to send to hc
They also told me it's required as part of your onsite packet
Transcripts are just there to make sure there aren’t any red flags. You should have nothing to worry about (as long as GPA >3.0)
Ah well you know what they say. Sometimes it’s the journey not the destination :/ I have a low gpa so probably not gonna be getting in (2.4). It was fun doing the 400 leetcode though and knowing I at least got to the hiring committee as a nobody :) ggwp as they say
You might still get an offer if you did well in the interviews with at least one interviewer being an “enthusiastic endorser”. If not, you can still try again later when you are >3 years removed from school. That’s when your transcripts get excluded from your hiring packet.
Ah little unlucky I’m around 2.5 almost 3 years of experience. Maybe I should’ve postponed interview for a bit lolol oh well can only wait and see
I was faced with similar issue post-MBA (school had grade non disclosure policy so hadn't realized I could be asked for them once I was industry hire). Told my recruiter that it might not help my case since I hadn't been a top student. (My GPA was quite low). We decided to just submit certificate of completion instead :). I breathed a huge sigh of relief :).
That sounds like a dream come true honestly
How many YOE? What role did you interview for?
Almost 2.5 yoe and SETI role
