So I specifically applied to Draftkings as I saw on here/Glassdoor that they aren’t super LC heavy and I’ve got minimal LC done recently. Passed their HackerRank round and now have the technical round (1hr whiteboard call with an engineer) described as “During this interview, you will complete a complex coding exercise that is focused on applying a set of business rules to a data set. We are evaluating your ability not only to build a working solution but also understand the performance characteristics of the code that you write.” Wondering what I should brush up on before then / how you all interpret that? The “understand the performance characteristics” bit makes me think maybe I will be doing some LC style challenge. For a standard Software Engineer role, not senior.
Lol, it is funny that we are saying “complex coding exercise”. Well, make sure you know generic data structures: sets, dictionaries, and know how to write for-loop and if statement. It is not leetcode question, so no specific algo/pattern to brush up
Please tell about the hacker rank round have one coming up, it sounds like they ask a question about customers and discounts from glassdoor it sounds like two sum can you confirm?
How did yours go?
OP, what kind of question asked? I'm wondering the same thing about those lines they sent me.
Can you please update your experience?
Following. Applied there recently.
