For a Staff SWE screen, with limited time, is it good to do only the Uber top tagged in LC or do something like Neetcode 150? Meta asks only from LC and that worked well. What's the deal with Uber? A quick glance it appears to be heavily LC hard weighted. #phoneinterviewquestions #uber #staff
It's usually LC hard for phone and on-site
:( Can do unseen mediums, that's how far my coding skills can take me. Hards I may get the algo right, but writing bug free code that covers edge cases is a factor of magnitude harder. What would you suggest if SD is where my strength lies?
I was asked to code a rate limiter. The guy had some solution he wanted me to come to and was a bit frustrated I don't code exactly what he has.
They ask hard for phone screen. Confirm on the comp though. They seem to have decreased budget and far from what you see on levels.fyi.
Recruiter says comp is competitive with peers. Can ask for a range. Not moving unless it's on par with Meta. Is the onsite any better for coding or is that a hard too?
