From a German Jew born before Hitler’s Beer Hall Putsch to a Harvard academic to the most influential American statesman that influenced the most important global affairs right up to months before his death at age 100, Henry Kissinger lived a truly amazing life. 1923: Born Heinz Kissinger in an ordinary Orthodox Jewish family during the difficult and tumultuous early days of Weimar Germany, Kissinger had always wanted to be German. He excelled at soccer in the local club. 1933-1938: Kissinger vividly remembered the election of Hitler when he was nine years old because it profoundly altered his life. Kissinger suffered directly from anti-semitism as he was barred from soccer matches, high school, and his dad lost his job. 1938-1946: Not speaking a word of English, Kisssinger was forced to flee to the U.S. at age 15 with his parents shortly after the Anschluss with Austria. His relatives in Germany perished in the Holocaust while he learned English, performed manual labor to support his family, and served in the US army to occupy his native Germany during WWII. 1946-1960s: Kissinger was a great student of history and he used the GI Bill to attend Harvard as an older student. He stayed on at Harvard to become a professor on foreign policy. He first shot to fame in the late 1950s as a commentator on nuclear weapons policy while sporting a thick German accent on American prime time TV. By the 1960s, Nixon picked him to become his Secretary of State, catapulting him to global significance. 1960s-1970s: In the Nixon and Ford presidencies, Kissinger would vastly expand the Vietnam War by bombing Cambodia and Vietnam relentlessly and secretly invading Laos leading to the deaths of many. His Cambodia bombing campaign which claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands directly led to the rise of the Khmer Rouge. He also orchestrated multiple coups against leftists in Latin America including the one against Salvador Allende in Chile which led to the Pinochet dictatorship. He also backed Pakistan in its genocide on East Pakistan. He ensconced took part in meddling in conflicts in Africa. In the Middle East, he carried out diplomacy with Muslim states to keep Israel safe. This included steadfast support for the Shah’s rule in pre-revolutionary Iran. His overriding concern at this time was to beat communism by any means necessary which ironically included opening up to Communist China under Mao Zedong at the height of the Cultural Revolution. This act would become the capstone of his legacy. 1970s-2023: After leaving government, Kissinger remained a private back channel between the US and many countries. Both parties sought his advice on foreign affairs as did many foreign governments including the Chinese government. Kissinger open up a consultancy which generated a lot of wealth for him. He visited China over 100 times and for over 40 years helped American companies do business there. China respected him so much that they regularly invite him as a guest of honor to their major events. As Trump took power, he sought Kissinger’s advice. In 2023 at age 100, Kissinger offered advice on the Ukraine War, AI, and the Israel-Hamas conflict (with bias in favor of the Jewish state). He celebrated his centennial with an important and one last trip to China to repair deteriorating Sino-American relations. In the same statehouse where he had his historic meeting with Mao Zedong half a century earlier, a 100 year old Kissinger received utmost praise and respect from Xi Jinping. But that wasn’t all. Only weeks before passing away, Kissinger continued publishing op-eds and attended talks with dignitaries like Hillary Clinton. While doing all this, the 100 year old German Jew turned American statesman still squeezed in time for one last visit to his hometown of Furth and his childhood soccer club where he had many happy memories of pre-Nazi Germany. where he once held very different aspirations. Sharp as ever, he delivered a press conference on his homecoming in his native German. Rest in peace, Henry “Heinz” Alfred Kissinger. The world is different because of you.
May all the terrorists of the world join him
LMFAO troll ass post. Rest in piss
Anti-Semite spotted
How dare you criticize a jew, you are anti-semite. Criticize all muslims and arabs and wish death upon all of them as an apology NOW! P.S. I don’t know much about Kissinger and I don’t give a damn
Young kid here, why is Kissinger hated by the libs?
He did bad things in the 1960s and 1970s to many countries in the name of anti-communism. Ironically the entirety of China and the CCP holds him in the highest regard. He is their “old friend” despite being an anti-communist war criminal.
Google what he did to Cambodia please
Mistakes were made, but not by him!
We shouldn’t speak ill of the dead, but in this case I will make an exception. World has one less blood thirsty war criminal and is better without him. Adios douchebag!
Cambodia has entered the chat
Ah yes, everyone’s favourite war criminal.
Rest in piss to a terrible human being
