Family with 1 kid and looking for an suv.I have test driven all the above mentioned cars. All are great cars but personally felt rx350h is a little over priced compared to glc300 with all the technology packages included and rx350 doesn’t give the drive comfort of mercedes. Been hearing good reviews about volvo xc60 as well online but personally doesn’t know a friend who owns one. Budget is between 60k - 70k. Have driven jeep grand cherokee in the past, I am looking for a safe, enjoyable drive (both driver and passengers)
GLC was just updated I believe. So all new design with a huge screen for the infotainment
Glc has no much style on exterior. Taillights look like geometry figures drawn by baby
Xc90
Do you own one? What do I miss out in Mercedes and Lexus that Volvo does it better?
Have a Lexus and Volvo. Friend has mb. Their mb permanently shut off while they were driving down a street. Xc90 volvo feel like a bomb proof luxury tank with insane amount of power. Lexus feel like a very reliable tin can with a nice interior.
Lexus. Merc and Volvo both poop reliability wise (electronics go puff puff).
Don’t buy Volvo
Tesla. Hate going to dealers, hate maintenance.
Agreed !! Dealing with dealers and their marketing sales strategy and negotiating is the worst part of car buying.. but few hours of pain vs the car of your liking 🤷🏻♂️
C8 Corvette
Love to own one !! But need a suv 🤣
Depends on what type of car buyer you are. Lexus targets the older demographic because most of the time they are going to hold onto that car for a while. Compared to Mercedes where they know their buyers are rotating cars after so many years to get whats new. I personally recommend Lexus because of its reliability. Unless your plan is to rotate cars to get what's new. At that point, you might not even care about the problems Mercedes can have. People are going to say "you are just buying a Toyota". I solidly disagree with that. They might share the same chassis and engine, but I seriously believe that Lexus is designed and built with more attention to detail than Toyotas.
I wouldn't waste my time haggling with a dealer, this guy does it for you and saves you a good bit of coin https://automatchconsulting.com/ he's very well known
Stretch a bit more and go for X7
