Why so high service fees at offerup?
Tried to sell my 1st item on offerup. They are charging me 11% of sale price as service charges. My item of 100$ (which i already reduced so much in price) will give me just 90$ No way i m using offerup ever now. What other place can i sell besides craigslist? Tc 380k

Every other service charges 12-14% (mercari, eBay) if they buy online. I would suggest you to use local pickup on offer up. From 2022 if you sell for more than 600 then you need to submit w4 and youโll get w2 at the end of year and you need to pay taxes. I generally use Facebook marketplace or offerup and put local pickup only
Imagine making 380k and wasting time worrying about a $10 fee
You can just get cash once offer is final Why use it for payment
Not sure what u meant. I am not able to dm buyer there. Also item has to be shipped to another state
Ohh ok. I usually use to sell to local buyers and take cash works wonderfully
