What are some of the main perks in office and otherwise? Also, would love to know how the campus is, in general… Do they have free/subsidized food options and is it any good? Is EV charging free and easy to get? TC - 110 YoE - 5
Free drinks, snacks and subsidized food in the cafeteria (5-10$).
You have to pay $5 for their lunch meals. Honestly one of the best run office kitchens I have been in (goog and dash). They have a wine cellar and free wine/local beer tastings. Otherwise the campus is boring and people dont have basic office etiquettes. They will shout on zoom calls from their cubicles, and hog meeting rooms all day and have lunch and leave trash. Overall, pretty bad experience.
That’s very helpful! Thanks Any insight on the parking situation?
Ya’ll are spoiled. Finally made it to SJC and it finally felt like ebay is real tech company. The cafeteria is great. Multiple stations, food was solid, nice environment, all for like $2. Wayyyy better than Day One. Didn’t go much beyond commons and Main Street though. But that little house was neat too. SF office is pretty decent. Bellevue…. gross. NYC just moved. Looks fine. SLC is a nice big campus I hear. Austin, apparently, has issues with stocking the restrooms (according to Blind).
$5 for every lunch item (heavily subsidized). Decent gym on site. Los Gatos creek trail right next to office great for breaks/walks along the creek. Lots of greenery and places to sit and work outside if you feel stuffy inside. Every day 3-6 pm there’s a bar that serves free high quality beer and wine. EV charging for $0.75/hour easy enough to get a spot if you’re in at a reasonable time.
Charging is only easy if you get there before 9. Otherwise impossible until after 4. Other points are right. Also there are subsidized food trucks on Wed.
The $5 Food subsidies are only till end of August. Lunch will run you $7-10 . Free drinks and snacks in most buildings. Decent gym on site.
