Is Yelp still hiring?
I recently did a phone screen with Yelp for an MLE role. I thought I did well and am pretty confident at first that I will get an on-site. However, it has been four days after the interview and no one contacted me. I wonder if Yelp has stopped hiring or maybe the position is filled? I still see similar job openings on their career site though. I f/u’ed with HR through email and still no response. Yelp folks, any insights? Yeah still hiring, in fact I think they are trying to squish more interviews than usual by year end

They said hiring for the role is stopped due to business needs
Same here. They cancelled my on-site for MLE due to “business needs”
Which location is your position in? Also how many years of experiences do you have?
Yelp is still hiring! Mostly outside the US though but US hires still happen with some exceptions. We usually have an eng and interview break towards the end of December til first week of January but it’s still early in the month so you should be getting updates. Maybe the recruiter is on PTO? Hopefully things turn out well!
