Its not a pleasure because trains were usually packed cause I had to commute during peak peak hours. It take me about 45min door to door. I did also add tat recently, I can choose to commute during off peak hours or WFH.
is 45 mins commute typical? That seems pretty long to me, though I have always tried to live close to work to avoid commuting.
Wlb and competition to get a random tech job there ?
How is wlb at ubisoft?
Wlb is very good, among the best in AAA. But pay is much lower than comparable AAA

I did say it's not too bad. Consumer taxes 10%. Income taxes 20%.
Thanks, that sounds pretty fair considering all of the infrastructure Tokyo has to offer. I had a misconception that the taxes were even higher in JP than in the EU countries.

The dating scene is similar to other places in the world. Just that men are more likely to be shy than women in general. If you are western women, you will have to chase more than expected elsewhere.
Best part: very convenient. All parts of the city is we'll connect by trains or bus that run regularly. There is a convenience store at every corner. Public toilets are clean.
