3 weeks ago, a few of us founded an in person LeetCode study group. 25 of us congregate in a secret SoHo location every Saturday and grind problems together, do system design interviews, and (new) practice React. We’ve got FAANG veterans and new students. More senior folks explain basic concepts to beginners. It’s like Kumbaya meets corporate greed. User Testimonial (Me): I used to hate LeetCode. I’ve been a FE engineer for 12 years and just passed on any company asking LC questions because I was a whiny lil’ b****. With this economy, I had no choice and had to accept my fate. LCSquad made LC friendly and fun! I meet new friends, get to explain things out loud, and if I come at 4:59, I snag a free latte. Join us next Saturday: 🗺️ Where: Secret SoHo location ⏰ When: Saturday April 20, 10Am-1PM We also just formed weekday study pods M-F @5PM-8PM Join us! what's the first rule of fight club?
Don’t shut up about it and advertise it on blind. How do you think they spread to every city? Major difference: our group teaches to become corporate TC slaves instead of blowing up corporates and wiping out all debt. Basically f(-1)(fightClub) = LCSquad
True true. It’s a gamble. Possibly a dumb one in retrospect. We do have some leads on space at a Bootcamp.
How prestigious is your secret club? What’s the new member initiation ritual?
Can’t say. But it involves a goat
This is kinda cool ngl
Shows how low the bar is for cool
I am the only one frustrated to see "study groups" even after college while working jobs ? Bruh I don't have time for personal stuff after work hours let alone study groups.
Believe me, I hate LC as much if not more than you do. Then why do I torture myself you may ask? Take a look at my current TC ☹️
how do you sneak into the wework
It’s a secret
