hireright

Accepted another gig, now i have to move through a "background" check which is freaking me out. Company is called hireright. Why am I freaked out? Because I am like that by nature :-) Have no criminal records, no offender issues, all my employment are correct (might be off by a month here and there), no BS in terms of degrees. Should I wait with my resignation until this thing comes back "clear"

Up to you. I told my recruiter that I’ll only give my 2 weeks after background check passes.

Wait until it clears

If you have nothing to hide and can provide evidence to support your history you don’t have anything to worry about. Mine finished in 1.2 days and that was even with me having to provide docs to prove some of my employments dates because the dates HireRight “verified” were completely wrong.

is there a way to verify employment with Amazon without notifying Amazon?

JPMorgan Chase Jamie💎 Jan 11, 2022

There’s an option to not notify the employer. Also employment checks usually go through an automated system anyway.
