I used to be overweight and a couch potato 6 months back. Finally when it reached a stage when my friends couldnt recognize me from older pictures i decided to hit the gym. First week i was really really sore from worout. i couldnt run more than 2 mins on a treadmill. i researched online fitness forums and decided to take whey protein after work out. Soon i started taking caesin(slow digesting) protein with milk before sleeping in addition to whey protein. A month in i started taking pre work out with creatine, alanine and caffeine. This really helped my work outs. i could run more, lift harder. As a side effect of pre work out i didnt get sleep in night and used to feel tired. To combat that i started taking little bit of marijuana before sleep which solved the problem. As a result of taking so much protein i had digestive problems. To combat that i took digestive enzymes supplement. marijauna caused red eyes to combat that i took eye drops in the morning. my diet became protein heavy, lots of meat and fish which caused constipation and to combat that i am taking fibre supplement and stool softener and also vitamin supplement. There were days when i targeted to lift really heavy and 0.25 gm of cocaine before work out really helped. 2 weeks back i ran a half marathon again taking caffeine and creatine shots. My transformation from fat to fit has left even me stunned. I lost 30 pounds gained solid muscle. From last week i decided to stop all supplements and just concentrate on staying fit. To my horror i found out that i cannot lift 0.8 of my capacity with pre-workout and 0.7 of (pre workout + cocaine). gym seems boring. i am not getting the adrenaline pump. my appetite has decreased. I am hating running. I just want to maintain my last 6 months gain. I dunno what to do ? i am stunned by the shocking change in a week. I am depressed too...

Not a fake post. Because of cocaine i posted this anonymously. I cant discuss it with friends. I felt euphoria and very very active the moment i take it. There was no slowing me down. It helped me go extra in the last 2 reps of every set. It elevated my mood. I could go on and on with the help of energy pills and Coke combo.
Fitness is a lifestyle. And you don't have to become meathead to maintain a healthy body. I simply run for as long as I can and lift as much as I can. With time your capacity will increase. Diet is a big part of it. Just make sure your day to day diet is reasonable. Do this over the years and you will be fine. As far as motivation is concerned, I am not sure what to say. I have always been motivated about staying in normal shape.
I eat protein throughout the day steak, kidney beans, shakes. It helped muscle build a lot. But my stomach gave in.

I'm really depressed. This is not a troll. I was using the one by a company called optimum nutrition. Just mix in water and have it. I used to have shivering hands and itchy feeling initially bit then edible marijuana at night removed it.
I dunno what roids are. Never took them. There was another mixture available with caffeine beta alanine and creatine mixture. On the pack one scoop was recommended. I started with one and ended with 3. 10 minutes after i take it i feel very active. Like running or doing something or lifting
Just keto and chill. I just did light cardio with the diet and lost 15lbs in 6 weeks. No muscle growth but a better aesthetic appeal for sure.
Keto unfortunately has been too hard for someone who's a vegetarian. At any rate portion control and quality does have a huge impact.

I can't speak much about exercise and gym routine but it seem you need some emotional support too. I will suggest first stop taking all drug (marijuana/cocaine). I know it can be difficult but think in how bad situation it has put you. after few days, you will have feeling of victory and it will give you satisfaction and inspiration. Then try to reduce caffein and too much artificial proteins. Increase sleep at the same time. Increase vegetables and fruits in diet. This will soothe your body. Remeber, being healthy does not mean having 6 pack. As long as your body is flexible and you can run, lift normal weights, it should be fine. There is no point in taking toxic supplement to get abs. Remember, patient and persistence is key. Have faith and believe you can totally go back to normal routine and have much healthier lifestyle. People has survived much difficult things in world. Make a resolve and I believe, you can do that. :)

That's not how it works, that's not how any of this works. seriously though, if you stay away from the chemicals for a month or so your natural oxytocin will bounce back. it's a marathon not a sprint.

I've gone through a transformation minus the drugs. Mine took lot of time and i always prioritized sleep(that's when the gains actually occur, right?) Anyways. You can definitely maintain the gains you made but you should probably detox first. Just consume enough calories with good amount of protein and lift your usual weights.. That should prevent muscle loss. Cut the caffeine, drugs or any sort of performance enhancer. Just take a power nap of 20 minutes before workout and it'll do wonders. Persistence is the key. Everyone needs to fill in the time sheet. There are no short cuts
