I created a fake female Tinder profile for experiment
https://www1.salary.com/Executive-Assistant-Salary.html Saw several articles mentions range at that level, and with equity / bonus potential. Thoughts?
Dated an MBA at Meta who was an EA. The expertise and complexity of their work depends on team/trust/ seniority of executive they are supporting. Some are just calendar coordinators but others are practically the right hand to the executive and if the company has no “chief of staff” labeling they’re either identified as EA or sometimes Business Lead. Nothing but respect for them. They make decent pay for an often thankless job.
At Amazon, they are generally expected to help with projects, presentations etc. but it does depend on how senior they support. Only L8+ has an EA
There's a difference between Chief of Staff and EA. That salary seems like a lot for the job responsibilities of EA.
Sounds about right. I just got an offer to be an EA to an SVP and the comp is $193K with potentially for additional bonus and equity depending on company performance. I also have an MBA
Wut company?
You get that these are people who usually have decades of experience right? It’s literally a thankless job
That's not what average means.
Executive assistant by definition is a post which usually has people with a lot of experience. Average is the mean for that post. But if that post itself skews towards a lot of experience, this data is distorted and represents experienced people
