Looking to sell my car, thinking about selling it through Vroom/ Carvana/ Shift. Which one is the best? Any experiences? In Bay Area, CA
Carvana
Craigslist, brand forums like Audizine, bimmerpost, benzworld or cars&bids.com Carmax will lowball the shit out
I had a great experience with Carmax. Sure I could sell my car at higher price in Craiglist & co but selling my car and getting the check the same day hassle free was worth for me.
Carmax is a shit hole. Cars and bids is great but only if you have an interesting car. If it's a 2005 corolla, they won't take it.

Shift
Kelly blue book get instant offer
Had a pretty good experience with Carvana recently selling some cars. Their offer was higher than Vroom/Shift/etc and I got exactly what was quoted. Probably could’ve gotten more selling through Craigslist, but the convenience was worth it at least for me
Carvana
I just wanted to thank you all for your inputs and share that I finally went with shift.com ( they quoted me the highest, by about 3k more than carvana / carmax/ vroom!!!). I was surprised to see it was higher than the kbb fair price value. The selling experience was super smooth - 30 min overall. I would highly recommend them if anyone else is in the same boat. DM me if you want a referral code, we both get a $100 each.
